I have always been a big fan of apple pies, the distinct sweetness and unique flavor keeps me digging for more.
.....That was when I was a kid, way back when I have sweet tooth. Now, That I'm all grown-up, I will always get goose bumps whenever I eat a part of a baked apple pie, there were just too much fillings...
Then, the frustrated chef button suddenly turned on. I thought of making my own apple pie with lesser fillings and enough crust that can compliment each other..
Here it is my own version of apple pie which is not baked, it's fried...

Apple Pie is actually rich Vitamin C, Beta-Carotene, dietary fiber and a very good source of anti-oxidants that can regulate the inhibitions of free radicals in the body, thus, promoting a younger you.
Apple is also a good source of B-complex vitamins such as riboflavin, thiamin, and pyridoxine.
There are also studies revealing that there are large quantity of a substance present in apple that can help you prevent Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease.

Ingredients
- 2 Pieces medium apples - preferably Fuji, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk (for fillings)
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 2 spoon butter
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 spoon crushed Graham Crackers
- 1 medium egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 spoon evaporated milk (for dough)
- 1/2 cup water
Procedure - Apple Fillings
- In a medium sauce pan, add 1/2 cup evaporated milk, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon powder, butter and flour.Let it boil for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the apple and 1/2 cup water and let it boil until the apple becomes transparent.
Note: It's much better if you will going to have a thicker sauce for your fillings. Watery fillings can ruin the dough of you pie.
Procedure - For the Dough
- Create a volcano shape from the flour. Put the eggs, crushed graham, milk and baking powder in the hole.
- Combine using your hands. Make sure than all the ingredients will be mixed together.
- Using a floured rolling pin, flatten the dough for about a little thicker than a coin. Make sure that you flour the surface and some parts of the dough to avoid sticking.
- Cut into 4 by 5 inches and set aside.
Note: Make sure that the thin dough is enough to support the liquid fillings. Too thin will result into the dough being destroyed. Also, make sure that there are no holes in the dough.
